Bromhexine HCL (Bisolvon®) is generally well tolerated. Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and other mild gastrointestinal side effects have been reported. Thus, care should be used in patients with a history of active peptic ulceration. Allergic reactions primarily skin rashes, urticaria, bronchospasm, angio-edema and anaphylaxis have also been reported. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
